Meet Chef Michelle

I am Michelle Politano, a private chef, caterer, and the owner and executive chef of PiANTA, a plant based restaurant in Providence, Rhode Island. My approach to food is rooted in flavor, beauty, and presence. I care deeply about how things taste, how they feel, and the energy they carry.

As a private chef, I create plant based meals for weddings, retreats, and intimate gatherings across New England and beyond. Everything is built from scratch and designed around what will make your experience feel the most memorable. No two events I do are ever the same because no two people, no two tables, no two moments are.

I pay attention to what is in season, how a space moves, and what your guests will want to remember. I take the time to understand the vibe, the flow, and the meaning behind why you are gathering. From there, I design something that fits. It is not just about food, it is about creating something that feels effortless, elevated, and completely you.

I bring everything I need and handle every detail from prep and service to flow and clean up. My background running a restaurant and catering full scale events means I know how to manage timing, keep things calm, and stay five steps ahead without breaking a sweat. But beyond logistics, I bring care. I show up fully, every single time.

I believe in kindness, in intuition, and in doing things with integrity. I love what I do, and I never take for granted that someone has chosen me to be part of something special. That trust means everything.
